Pool service near you, across North County.

Next Level Pool Service has been keeping North County pools clear for over fifteen years. Weekly service across Vista, Oceanside, Carlsbad, San Marcos, Escondido, Fallbrook, Bonsall, and Rancho Santa Fe — cleaned, balanced, and with your equipment checked on every visit, so nothing about your pool is a surprise. No contracts. Your first 4 visits are free.

The route runs out of Vista, and it's sized so the same tech sees the same pools on the same day every week. That's on purpose. A tech who knows your pool notices when the pump primes slower than last week, or when the cell reading has crept up, or when the filter gauge is sitting three psi higher than it was in March. That's how small things stay small.

How we decide where we go

Most companies that come up when you search "pool service near me" list twenty or thirty cities. We don't, and it's worth explaining why. Same tech, same day, every week is a promise about reliability, and reliability has a radius. A stop a long drive from the one before it is the stop that gets pushed to Friday when a Santa Ana wrecks the Tuesday route. So we take pools we can put on a day we're already nearby, and we say no to the ones we can't. If your city isn't on the list, call anyway. If we can hold a day near you, we will, and if we can't, we'll say so.

What changes from city to city

The water. Inland — Vista, San Marcos, Escondido — it comes in hard from Vallecitos and its neighbors, and scale on tile and salt cells is the thing to stay ahead of. Coastal — Oceanside, Carlsbad, the Del Mar side of Rancho Santa Fe — the marine layer drives chlorine demand up from May into July and the salt air corrodes pads. Escondido and Fallbrook get ash on the water any time something burns. And every one of them gets a Santa Ana twice a year that fills a skimmer overnight. Same visit everywhere; different things to watch.

Where we run routes

Eight cities, the neighborhoods we're already in, and the one thing about the water your tech will be watching in each of them.

Vista — 92081, 92083, 92084

Home. Shadowridge, Vista Ridge, Glen Oaks, Laurel Pointe, Los Robles, Buena Creek, and the older pools around Vista Village. Vista's tap water is some of the hardest in the county, so the white line on the tile and the crust on the salt cell are the things we brush as needed and watch every week. Vista pool service

Oceanside — 92054, 92056, 92057, 92058

Ocean Hills, Rancho Del Oro, Fire Mountain, San Luis Rey, and a lot of Camp Pendleton families on the list. The marine layer sits on these pools most mornings from May into July, so we run chlorine a little higher through the gray months. Military, first responders, and hospital staff get their first eight visits free. Oceanside pool service

Carlsbad — 92008, 92009, 92010, 92011

Both sides of the 5: the Village, Olde Carlsbad, La Costa, Aviara, Bressi Ranch, Calavera Hills. Salt air works on heater cabinets and equipment pads closer to the beach, and the tile scale on the older La Costa pools is as heavy as anything inland. Carlsbad pool service

San Marcos — 92069, 92078

San Elijo Hills, Lake San Marcos, and the newer pools around the university. Vallecitos water is hard, and every top-off adds calcium — so we keep the pH from drifting high and tell you when calcium hardness is climbing toward the point where a reverse osmosis treatment makes more sense than chasing it. San Marcos pool service

Escondido — 92025, 92026, 92027, 92029

Felicita, Midway, Eureka, East Grove — where the water runs hot and the ash lands. Summer water past ninety degrees, evaporation that pulls the level down a couple of inches a week, stabilizer creeping up. Expect an extra vacuum after wind, a quarterly filter clean, and after an ash event an early stop and an ash cleanup quoted separately. Escondido pool service

Fallbrook & Bonsall — 92028, 92003

Fallbrook under the groves and pepper trees; Bonsall, where the pools are big and the pads are a walk from the house. Leaf load is the story here, grove dust after a Santa Ana, and ash any time something burns. We budget more time per stop on these lots than on a tract pool. Fallbrook · Bonsall

Rancho Santa Fe — 92067, 92091

The Covenant to Fairbanks Ranch. Larger bodies of water, more features, more shade, and a lot more leaf load from mature trees. Chemistry moves slower in a big pool but takes longer to correct, so we watch it closer, and we send the report to the estate manager if that's who needs it. Rancho Santa Fe pool service

How fast can you start?

Usually this week. You call or send us the address, we quote weekly service on the phone from your pool's size and what's on the equipment pad, and the first visit goes on the next route day that passes your house.

There's no site visit before the quote because we don't need one. Fifteen years on these exact pools means a Shadowridge tract pool with a cartridge filter and a salt cell is a job we've done a few hundred times. If your pool is green, or the pad has something on it we want to see before we commit to a number, we'll ask for a photo. That's the only time the quote waits.

Your first four weekly visits are free — the full service, not a trial version of it — and then you decide. No contract. Not happy after your free month? Walk away and you owe nothing. Military households, any branch, plus first responders and hospital staff get their first eight visits free; details on the military page.

You'll know your pool was serviced. You'll see it.

After every stop you get an email: a photo of your pool, the chemistry numbers, what we did, and anything to keep an eye on. Not a checkbox on an invoice — an actual picture, every week.

If we ever skip a scheduled stop, that visit is free.

Hi Mark — pool's done. FC 3.0 · pH 7.4 · Alk 90 · CH 320. Skimmer basket was packed from the Santa Ana, cleared it. Filter at 14 psi, normal. Salt cell reading 85% — fine for now, I'll watch it next month. — James

What we do on every stop, wherever you are

The visit is the same in Fire Mountain as it is in Fairbanks Ranch. What changes is what your tech is watching for while he does it.

1Test the water first

Free chlorine, pH, alkalinity, and stabilizer, plus salt on salt pools; calcium hardness when the water calls for it. Adjustments come from what the water says, not from what the calendar says.

2Brush walls, tile line, and steps

Brushing keeps inland scale from bonding to the tile and keeps algae out of the shade corners. It's the step crews skip when they're behind. We don't.

3Net the surface, empty every basket

Skimmer basket and pump basket, every visit. A packed pump basket starves the pump, and a starved pump is how seals fail.

4Vacuum when the floor needs it

After a Santa Ana in Escondido, after the pepper trees drop in Fallbrook, after a beach-day weekend in Oceanside. On what we see, not on a rotation.

5Balance the chemistry

Chlorine, acid, and whatever the test called for, dosed to your pool's volume and logged. Chemicals are part of the weekly rate, not a line on the invoice.

6Read the filter gauge and watch the pump prime

Filter pressure, pump flow, and a look at the salt cell and heater. This is what catches the small problem in March instead of the big one in July.

7Email you the photo report from the truck

A picture of your pool, the chemistry numbers, what we did, and anything to keep an eye on — sent before we leave the driveway, every visit.

What neighbors near you say

Ninety reviews across Google, Yelp, and Angi, quoted as written. Two from the route, thirty more on the reviews page.

I had a home in Oceanside for 5 years. In that time I went through 3 other pool services. James and Next Level were by far the best and most professional company. My inly regret is not finding them sooner. When I sold the house recently, I strongly recommended the new owner continue with Next Level. They are the best!

Questions people near us ask

Straight answers. If yours isn't here, call — the owner picks up.

Do you service my part of Vista, Oceanside, or Carlsbad?

Almost certainly. The neighborhoods and ZIP codes above are where the route already runs, and it covers all of Vista, Oceanside, and Carlsbad, plus San Marcos, Escondido, Fallbrook, Bonsall, and Rancho Santa Fe. If you're on the edge, call. If we can hold a day near you, we'll say yes; if we can't be reliable there, we'll say so.

How fast can you start weekly service near me?

Usually this week. We quote on the phone from your pool's size and equipment, and the first visit goes on the next route day that passes your house. The only time it waits is a green pool or an equipment pad we want a photo of first. Your first four visits are free either way.

How much is weekly pool service in North County?

It depends on the pool — a twelve-thousand-gallon tract pool and a forty-thousand-gallon estate pool with a spa and a lot of trees aren't the same job, and we'd rather give you a real number than a starting-at number. Call and we'll quote it on the spot, chemicals included, no contract. The service plans page explains what moves the number.

Do you do the fix too?

No, and that's deliberate. When a pump, heater, or salt cell fails we diagnose it and put the finding in writing — what's wrong, whether it's urgent, and our honest opinion on fix versus replace. Work that needs a C-53 goes to Pool-Clinic Inc., a licensed C-53 swimming pool contractor, CSLB #1122305. You contract with them directly and pay them directly. We take nothing. See diagnostics.

Will the same tech come every week, on the same day?

Yes. Same tech, same day. That's why the route is sized the way it is. If he's out, you'll hear from us before the visit, not after. And if we ever skip a scheduled stop, that visit is free.

Do I need to be home? Can you get through a locked gate?

You don't need to be home; most of our customers are at work when we come. We need gate access — a code, a key, or an unlocked side gate — and we latch it behind us. Tell us about dogs on the first call, and please keep dogs inside on route day.

Do you take one-time cleanups or green pools outside your weekly routes?

Inside the route area, yes — a green pool cleanup, a filter clean, or a one-time visit before a party. Outside it, usually not, because a one-time job far outside the route means a late stop for a weekly customer. Send a photo and the address and we'll tell you quickly.

Do you service HOA and commercial pools in these cities?

Yes. Community pools in Vista, Oceanside, Carlsbad, San Marcos, and Escondido, on weekly or multi-visit schedules, with the chemistry log the County Health inspector wants to see. Details on the commercial pool service page.

“…James quickly assessed the condition of my pool and commenced corrective actions that in a few weeks took the pool, the water, and the pool equipment to levels not seen since the pool was refurbished years ago. Next Level (James) is a highly competent professional service that focuses on long term care rather than "Throw a bunch of chemicals at the problem and cross your fingers". Highly Recommend.”

“…I have been through six pool service companies/people in the last 18 months regarding algae growth and spread in my pool. Everyone that came out previously poured shock in by the gallons and loaded the floater with chlorine tabs. This not only did not help, but ruined my pool water to the point I had to drain the pool and scrub it from top to bottom. I finally found Next Level Pool Service and he not only told me exactly what caused the problem (over use of stabilized chlorine and shock), but told me exactly how to resolve the current situation and prevent further algae growth.”
