Claim it — call nowNext Level Pool Service has been keeping Fallbrook pools clear for over fifteen years. Weekly service across Rolling Hills Estates, Peppertree Park, and the grove country off Pomelo and Tangelo — cleaned, balanced, and with your equipment checked on every visit, so nothing about your pool is a surprise. No contracts. Your first 4 visits are free.
Most Fallbrook pools sit in a grove, or next to one, or under the pepper trees that gave Peppertree Park its name. That means leaves every week, not just after a Santa Ana; it means phosphates in the water feeding algae in the shady end all summer; and it means a filter that loads up twice as fast as one in a treeless Carlsbad yard. We read the gauge every visit, and the filter gets torn down and cleaned every three months as a preventive measure — sooner if the gauge climbs 8–10 psi over clean.
Fallbrook is a split town on water. Most houses in town are on Fallbrook Public Utility District water, and it behaves like the rest of inland North County — hard enough that every top-off adds calcium, and a pH left to drift ends up as a white line on the tile and a coated salt cell by late summer. Out in the groves, a lot of properties fill from a well. If you're on a well, the story changes: well water can carry iron and manganese that stain plaster the first time chlorine runs high, and it can come in with high dissolved solids that make the chemistry sluggish. We test the fill water on a new well account before we dose anything, and we treat metals before they become a stain. Either way, the tile line gets brushed as needed and the calcium number goes in the log when the water calls for it.
Fallbrook also gets ash. When something burns on the base, on the reservation, or up the 15, it lands on Fallbrook water first, and a grey film on the surface today means a pool that can go from clear to green in under two weeks if it isn't netted and the phosphates aren't dealt with. After an ash event those pools get an early stop, and an ash cleanup is its own process — quoted separately; it isn't part of the weekly visit. Santa Ana debris is different: that gets handled on the regular weekly stop — net, both baskets, gauge, vacuum if the floor needs it. And Fallbrook is Camp Pendleton's back gate — a lot of our accounts here are military families, which is why the offer on this page is eight free visits, not four.
Same tech, same day, every week. Water tested before anything is touched, then brushed, netted, baskets emptied, vacuumed when it needs it, and chemistry adjusted from the test. Filter gauge read, pump watched priming, cell and heater looked at. Then a photo and the numbers emailed to you before the truck leaves. When something on the pad fails, we diagnose it and put the finding in writing.
No contract. If we ever skip a scheduled stop, that visit is free. Not happy after your free month? Walk away. You owe nothing.
Fallbrook is 92028, from the village out to De Luz, and the pools change with the trees around them.
Big lots, big pools, older pads, and the longest plumbing runs on the route, so a pump that primes slower than it did last month goes in the log. Pala Mesa pools near the golf course pick up wind-blown clippings, which shows up as phosphates by August.
The older tract pools in town: modest lots, plaster that's been through a few lives, and pepper trees that never stop dropping. The corners get brushed hard and the baskets are full every week, wind or no wind.
Avocado and citrus on three sides, and a fair number of wells. Leaves on the water every visit, fertilizer drift feeding the shady end, and fill water we test before we trust it. These pools get the extra vacuum.
The south side toward Bonsall gets the wind first and the dust with it. Newer builds on the hills — pebble finishes, cartridge filters, salt systems — where the thing to watch is scale on the cell plates and the tile line.
The far end of the map: long driveways, remote pads, and properties that fill from a well more often than not. Metals and evaporation off open land are what we watch. Call and we'll tell you honestly whether the route reaches you.
Oaks near Live Oak Park, newer HOA homes at Sycamore Ranch, and everything between. If your street isn't named here, call anyway; we probably have a stop near you.
Seven steps, same order, every week. Twenty to thirty minutes on a typical Fallbrook pool; longer in the groves and after a wind.
Free chlorine, pH, alkalinity, and stabilizer, plus salt on salt pools; calcium hardness when the water calls for it. Phosphates when a pool has a history of going green; metals on a well account.
Under trees, the shaded end is where algae starts. Walls and steps every week, the tile line as needed, and the shade corners twice when the grove lots call for it.
Skimmer and pump basket, every stop. In Fallbrook the pump basket is full of pepper-tree leaves by midweek, and a packed basket starves the pump.
After a Santa Ana, after the groves drop, after ash. We vacuum when the floor needs it, not on a rotation — and in Fallbrook that's more often than the coast.
Chlorine, acid, and whatever the numbers called for, dosed to your pool's volume and logged. Chemicals are in the weekly rate.
Filter pressure climbs faster under trees than anywhere else on the route, so the gauge is the number we watch closest here. Cell plates and heater get a look every stop.
A picture of the pool, the numbers, what we did, and anything to keep an eye on — sent from the truck, every visit.
Fallbrook is the back gate, and a lot of our stops here are military households, so this is the biggest thing on the page.
Active duty, reserve, retired, or veteran, any branch — and first responders and hospital staff get the same eight. Two months of full weekly service and you pay nothing. Then month to month at the quoted rate, or tell us to stop. One per household, and the pool needs to be swimmable to start. Full terms on the military page.
A pool doesn't stop needing service because you're gone for seven months. We keep coming, and the photo report can go to whoever's holding down the house. When orders come, tell us the date and we pause or cancel the same day, no fee.
New weekly customers in Fallbrook get their first four visits on us. Same service, same conditions, no contract. A green pool is a cleanup first, then the free month begins. And if we ever skip a scheduled stop, that visit is free — you'll know because the photo didn't arrive.
After every stop you get an email: a photo of your pool, the chemistry numbers, what we did, and anything to keep an eye on. Not a checkbox on an invoice — an actual picture, every week.
If we ever skip a scheduled stop, that visit is free.
Most companies serving Fallbrook sell the weekly service and sell the fix. We don't do the second part.
When a heater won't fire, a pump won't prime, or a salt cell reads zero, we run the checks — flow, pressure, error codes, and what the equipment itself reports — and put the finding in writing: what's wrong, whether it's urgent, and our honest opinion on fix versus replace. On a Fallbrook pad it's often flow — a basket packed with leaves, a filter overdue for a clean, a lid O-ring — which we clear on the spot.
Anything involving parts, wiring, or gas goes to our referral partner, Pool-Clinic Inc., a licensed C-53 swimming pool contractor, CSLB #1122305. You contract with them directly and pay them directly. We take nothing.
Because we don't earn on the fix, the write-up has no reason to say anything but what's true.
How a diagnostic visit works is on the diagnostics page. The common ones: heater not heating, pump won't prime, motor humming or tripping, light out, automation not responding.
The jobs a grove-country pool needs a few times a year.

The route runs out of Vista, up the 76 and the 15. Bonsall and Fallbrook share route days. Same tech, same day, every week in each of these.
The ones we get on the phone from Fallbrook. If yours isn't here, call — the owner picks up.
Phosphates. Leaves, grove dust, and fertilizer drift all carry them, and the shaded end stays cool and dim, which is what algae wants. We brush those corners twice when they need it, test phosphates when a pool has a history, and knock them down before the bloom. Already green? A cleanup first, usually three to five days.
After an ash event your pool gets an early stop, and an ash cleanup is its own process — quoted separately; it isn't part of the weekly visit. Left alone, ash can take a pool from clear to green in under two weeks, and it packs the filter. If the gauge says the filter needs a clean, we tell you and quote it.
Yes. Well water can carry iron and manganese that stain plaster when chlorine runs high, and often comes in with high dissolved solids that make chemistry sluggish. On a new well account we test the fill water before dosing anything, treat metals ahead of a stain, and log the numbers so you can see the trend.
Quoted on the phone in about two minutes from your pool's size and what's on the pad — no site visit. Chemicals are in the weekly rate; filter and salt cell cleans are quoted separately and done every three months on the same visit. The first four visits are free, and the first eight for military, first responders, and hospital staff.
Your first eight weekly visits are free — active duty, reserve, retired, or veteran, any branch, and first responders and hospital staff get the same eight. Then month to month, no contract. PCS orders pause or cancel service the same day, no fee. One per household; the pool needs to be swimmable to start. Not in one of those groups? Four free visits on the same terms.
Because the pool didn't need more that week. A clean floor doesn't get vacuumed for show; the time goes where the pool needs it. The photo report answers the question every visit — the picture, the numbers, and what we did.
We diagnose it and put the finding in writing: what's wrong, whether it's urgent, and our honest fix-versus-replace opinion. Flow and settings problems we clear on the spot. 4.5 from 90 reviews across Google, Yelp & Angi. Thirty of them below, quoted as written.
“I had a home in Oceanside for 5 years. In that time I went through 3 other pool services. James and Next Level were by far the best and most professional company. My inly regret is not finding them sooner. When I sold the house recently, I strongly recommended the new owner continue with Next Level. They are the best!”
“…James is amazing. He came the day I called for an estimate. His prices are very reasonable. He is extremely knowledgeable about all things pools and spas. Definitely quality work. He follows directions. Sends a photo of our spa water after each weekly treatment. Is available via text, phone or email with a quick response time.”
“…Now, here comes James. He knows his business 110% . Can answer all my questions to my satisfaction. He goes above and beyond to make sure you are a satisfied customer. I didn't even get to mention they have the best prices in the county that I have seen. So much more for your money. Like what you ask? Do you get photos of your crystal clean waters after the service? Detailed service reports which include chemical concentration before and after treatment including what was added and it's all sent to your email after the visit is complete.”
“I have been so happy with James and his team. My pool looks great, I appreciate the communication, they send pictures and he lets me know what chems he used. You get what you pay for with this team. It's great service. Stop paying for a bad job and start paying for what you expect: a clean pool to enjoy.”
“…James quickly assessed the condition of my pool and commenced corrective actions that in a few weeks took the pool, the water, and the pool equipment to levels not seen since the pool was refurbished years ago. Next Level (James) is a highly competent professional service that focuses on long term care rather than "Throw a bunch of chemicals at the problem and cross your fingers". Highly Recommend.”
“Great company!! Staffs are very friendly and responsive. Price is fair and service is spot on!! Highly recommend.”
“…I have been through six pool service companies/people in the last 18 months regarding algae growth and spread in my pool. Everyone that came out previously poured shock in by the gallons and loaded the floater with chlorine tabs. This not only did not help, but ruined my pool water to the point I had to drain the pool and scrub it from top to bottom. I finally found Next Level Pool Service and he not only told me exactly what caused the problem (over use of stabilized chlorine and shock), but told me exactly how to resolve the current situation and prevent further algae growth.”
“…Very personalized service, best price in our area. Savings options. Stellar customer service. If something comes up that is outside of their scope they will connect you with their colleagues who can can address that need. Please help this small business grow. I highly recommend them!”
“I just started with Next Level Pool Service and Repair for the past two months and have been very impressed, while other companies I have tried have refused to do above-ground pools and spas, Next Level has done a good job at servicing them.”
“James comes out every week to check the chemicals of our fountain and make the necessary changes. Our fountain was cleaned rock by rock when we first started service. We get a text when he is on his way which is helpful as well. Highly recommend”
“…James is so knowledgeable and professional. Really enjoyed our interaction and he really cares about pools and treating them. He takes the time to fully explain treatment plans and products. You can tell he is passionate about what he does and cares about his customers.”
“Barry turned our pool around! Very helpful & knowledgeable. Amazing results”
“After trying to DIY my pool following online forums and YouTube videos, I couldn’t for the love of god get rid of the stubborn algae out of my pool. James came in, did his magic, my pool is now sparkling clean. Knowledge and experience are a key. They don’t just come in and clean your pool, they explain everything along the way. Highly recommended.”
“James is knowledgeable and responsive. My pool is crystal clear now - he kept coming back until the job was completed and everything was sorted out. He even helped us sort out our pump schedule remotely. I recommend Next Level Pool Service.”
“Prompt thorough service with great customer service.”
