Something broken? Here's exactly how we handle it.

Straight answer first: Next Level is a maintenance company. We clean pools, balance water, and check equipment on every visit. We do not hold a C-53. So when a heater, pump, light, or control panel fails, here is exactly what happens — no hedging, no upsell.

Step one, we diagnose it. A tech comes out with a meter, a pressure gauge, and fifteen years of looking at North County equipment pads. He tests it, isolates the fault, and tells you in writing what's wrong, what it means, and whether it's urgent or can wait. Most of the time that's the whole job. A tripped GFCI, a stuck check valve, a cell that just needs cleaning, a heater that's been running on a dirty filter — a lot of "broken" is a maintenance fix, and we do those on the spot.

Step two, if it needs a C-53, we hand it off. Work that needs a C-53 goes to our referral partner: Pool-Clinic Inc., a licensed C-53 swimming pool contractor, CSLB #1122305. You contract with them directly and pay them directly. We take nothing. You go into that conversation with our written findings, so you know exactly what you're being quoted for and can get a second opinion if you want one.

Step three, we pick it back up. Once the work is done, we bring the chemistry back into range, confirm the equipment is doing what it should, and go back to watching it every week. Which is the real point: a pool on weekly service where someone reads the filter gauge and watches the pump prime every stop is a pool where most of this gets caught early and small.

What we diagnose

Heaters that won't fire, won't hold temperature, or throw codes. Pumps that are loud, leaking, or won't prime. Motors that hum, trip the breaker, or are dead. Pool lights that are out or tripping the GFCI. Automation systems that won't respond or won't hold a schedule. And timers that have stopped keeping the pump on schedule.

A diagnostic visit is quoted as a flat call-out. If it turns out to be a maintenance fix we can do right then, we do it and tell you what it costs first. If it needs Pool-Clinic, you get our write-up the same day.
